Welcome Debi!
Thanks for checking in, Debi. Happy travels.
Travel Quote - Lin Yutang
"No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow."
Lin Yutang, Chinese writer
Does this mean a strange pillow is more beautiful than your familiar one? It seems to suggest that as soon as you return home, you miss the pillows of travel. How do you interpret this?

Travel Quote
"If you wish to travel far and fast, travel light. Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness and fears." Ceasare Pavese, Italian poet.
Good advice, easier to suggest than follow. Somehow, travel does that for me. I get lost in the place and people and forget about myself. Every day is an adventure in an unfamiliar place.

Happy Feet at Wellington Zoo
My obsession with penguins is in full-gear with the web cam watching Happy Feet, the Emperor penguin that somehow migrated to Peka Peka beach in New Zealand and became ill from eating sand. He's on the mend and soon to be released. A fun song written by Don Wilson is posted on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ballad+of+happy+feet&aq=f Take a look and listen to The Ballad of Happy Feet.
