Do you keep a travel diary? Mine isn't as sensational as I'm sure Wilde's is, but I always keep detailed notes on my travels. Not just about what happened, but descriptions of people, places, meals, and more. More than memories, they enhance my travel writing.
Recordings and photos also keep track of trips for reference later.
